How to replace the rear tailgate lift support on Chevrolet Tracker?

Start by using a wrench to remove the nut connecting the strut to the endgate panel. Next, remove the nut securing the strut to the endgate opening. Finally, extract the endgate strut from the vehicle. Secure the endgate strut to the endgate opening while placing it through the opening then tighten it with the nut by following the Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices. The endgate strut needs to be attached to the endgate panel before tightening the nut to secure the installation. Secure endgate strut nuts to a torque of 15 Nm (11 lb ft).
