    Q: How to replace the Engine Mount Bracket on Chevrolet Uplander?
    A: First uninstall both Engine Mount struts from left and right sides while removing the air cleaner outlet duct. A supporting stand should lift the vehicle in order to proceed with Catalytic Converter disassembly followed by removal of the right front wheel with tire and right engine splash shield. Motorists should remove Engine Mount to frame nuts yet maintain a wooden block between the Oil Pan and jack support to protect equipment from breaking. Attach a utility stand combined with a wooden block under the Oil Pan to lift the engine before disconnecting bolts between the Oil Pan and Engine Mount bracket to remove both mount and bracket. Detach the engine bracket from the Engine Mount by first removing the Engine Mount bracket to Engine Mount nuts. To conduct the installation step first attach the engine bracket to the Engine Mount then secure the nuts at 50 n.m(37 lb ft) before placing the Engine Mount bracket onto the Oil Pan with bolt torque set at 58 n.m (43 lb ft). First lower the engine through the utility stand before attaching the Engine Mount to its frame nuts while tightening them to 47 n.m (35 lb ft). Installation of the right engine splash shield and right front wheel and tire along with the Catalytic Converter needs to happen before you lower the vehicle. These steps include reinstalling Engine Mount struts as well as the air cleaner outlet duct.
