The right engine mount and bracket replacement requires the disconnect of both the battery negative cable and
Fan Clutch electrical connector. Operators should remove the cooling Fan Clutch from the Water Pump Pulley with the Fan Clutch remover and installer (J 46406) until the clutch stays loose inside the
Fan Shroud. Disconnect the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor electrical connector followed by its retainer and proceed with removing the
MAP Sensor. The removal of the frame engine mount requires the right shock module to be extracted from its position. Rise the vehicle before removing right and left upper engine mount nuts followed by upper engine mount nuts. Place the jack on top of the
Oil Pan but avoid damaging the oil level sender during this process. Position a floor jack beneath the Oil Pan while using wood to support it. Lift the engine slightly to pass by the engine mount studs. The right engine mount should be removed from its bracket with attention paid to heat shield position. After this remove right engine mount bracket bolts to take out the right engine mount bracket. To continue with this step remove the bolts that secure the right frame engine mount bracket and simultaneously take out the bracket. Install the right frame engine mount bracket after removing it when required while tightening bolts to 110 nm (81 lb ft). Start by positioning the right engine mount bracket correctly before secure it with bolts tightened to 50 nm (37 lb ft). Following that install the right engine mount with correct placement of the heat shield. Installer the right and left upper engine mount nuts with a torque of 70 nm (52 lb ft). The floor jack should be removed after lifting the vehicle to the point where engine protection shield bolts can be installed for secure attachment. Drive the car down while securing the right and left lower engine mount nuts to a torque of 70 nm (52 lb ft). Reinstall both the right shock module with the MAP Sensor and retainer and its electrical connector. To complete the task use the Fan Clutch remover and installer (J 46406) to install the cooling Fan Clutch on the Water Pump Pulley and attach the Fan Clutch electrical connector followed by reconnecting the battery negative cable.
