How to replace the cruise control module on GMC Savana 3500?

First, lift and support the hood, and pull out the air cleaner assembly from the car. For the 4.3l engine, and for the 4.8l, 5.3l, and 6.0l engines, remove the electrical connection from the Cruise Control Module and cruise control cable from the Cruise Control Module. Take the two nuts that hold the Cruise Control Module to the cruise control bracket and remove it from the cruise control bracket and the vehicle. For installation, have the Cruise Control Module go back into the vehicle and mount it over the cruise control bracket , and tighten the two nuts to 5 n.m (44 lb in). Next, connect the cruise control cable and the electrical connector to the Cruise Control Module, reinsert the air cleaner assembly, and, eventually, close the hood.
