Mount the pitman shaft first with the side cover subsequently and then the dust seal and pitman shaft boot and finally the Pitman Arm onto the steering gear . Following the installation of the Pitman Arm nut includes the addition of the lock washer and nut. Tighten the nut to 250 nm (184 ft. Lbs.) and perform pitman shaft adjustments when needed.
