How to replace the right engine mount bracket on Chevrolet Silverado 3500? Posted by Customer
    A:
The replacement process of the right Engine Mount Bracket begins by removing the Engine Mount followed by Engine Mount Bracket bolts before extracting the bracket. Start by installing the Engine Mount Bracket before removing all remnants of the original adhesive. Dissolve the motor bolts threads by cleaning them with denatured alcohol or similar solvent followed by air drying. Apply threadlocker item gm p/n 12345382 and canadian p/n 10953489 or equivalent threadlocker on the bolts. The last installation steps include fitting the Engine Mount Bracket bolts at 75 nm (55 ft. Q:
How to replace the right engine mount on Chevrolet Silverado 3500 Classic? Posted by Customer
    A:
You must detach the Exhaust Manifold and Engine Mount-to-Engine Mount bracket bolts before proceeding to replace the right Engine Mount. To start the replacement process elevate the vehicle and properly support it before removing the tire together with wheel and then disposing of the inner wheelhouse panel and engine protection shield if this equipment is installed. You must avoid supporting the engine with either the crankshaft balancer or Oil Pan because adjustable screw-type jack stands should be used to support the engine. The maintenance starts with uninstalling the Engine Mount to engine bolts before extracting the right Engine Mount. The correct installation of the right Engine Mount requires positioning it at the engine location while following the fastener notice in service precautions. After installing the Engine Mount bolts at 50 nm (37 ft. Lbs.) torque value lower the engine and detach the adjustable jack stands. You should install the Engine Mount-to-Engine Mount bracket bolts at 65 nm torque before proceeding with Exhaust Manifold then inner wheelhouse panel then tire and wheel and lastly the engine protection shield if your vehicle has that component. Finally, lower the vehicle.
