Start by removing the transmission mount from the transmission or transfer case adapter mounting bolts until you can raise the transmission properly for removal of the mount. Install the new transmission mount into its position inside the vehicle before tightening the transmission and transfer case adapter mounting bolts to 50 n.m (37 lb ft). Lower the transmission while securing the mount to the transmission support retaining nut or nuts by torquing them to 40 n.m (30 lb ft). Finish by removing the transmission jack and letting the vehicle lower to the ground.

Lastly, complete the process by lowering the vehicle away from the transmission jack.
