The replacement process for air suspension compressors starts with proper vehicle elevation while applying support mechanisms. Start by disconnecting the exhaust system from the rear exhaust hangers before you remove all automatic level control (ALC) compressor bracket mounting bolts to lower the alc compressor assembly safely. First disconnect the alc compressor air tube from its clamp at the compressor while also eliminating the alc electrical harness connector from the compressor. First remove the side mounting nut from the alc compressor bracket before extracting both bracket and compressor from the vehicle. To begin, remove the alc compressor top bracket mounting screw while also disconnecting the electrical harness connector from the bracket and releasing the bleed hose from its clip. Disassemble the alc bracket from the alc compressor by removing its screws then detach the bracket from the compressor. You should locate the alc bracket onto the alc compressor before tightening alc bracket to alc compressor screws to 9 n.m (80 lb in). The installation steps involve connecting the bleed hose to the clip then installing the electrical connector to the alc compressor bracket and attaching the air tube to the alc compressor. After securing the alc electrical harness connector, workers must install the alc bracket side mounting nut then tighten the alc bracket mounting bolts to 9 n.m (80 lb in). Once the work is done you must reconnect the exhaust system to the rear exhaust hangers before lowering the vehicle down.

Before replacing the Air Suspension Compressor start by elevating and supporting the vehicle. First disconnect the exhaust system from its rear hangers before removing automatic level control compressor bracket bolts to proceed with lowering the whole assembly. Start by detaching the air tube at the alc compressor clamp through tube twisting and then disconnect the alc electrical harness connector. After reconnecting the alc electrical harness connector, install the side mounting nut on the alc bracket and torque the alc bracket mounting bolts to 9 n.m (80 lb in). Finish by reinstalling the exhaust system at its proper place on the rear exhaust hangers and then drop the vehicle back to ground level.

Begin Air Suspension Compressor replacement by elevating the vehicle while using support equipment. Start by disconnecting the exhaust system from rear exhaust hangers before removing the automatic level control (ALC) compressor bracket mounting bolts to finish with a slow descent of the alc compressor assembly. Connect the bleed hose to the clip and mount the electrical connector to the alc compressor bracket and fit the air tube on the alc compressor. After reconnecting the alc electrical harness and installing the side mounting nut you must tighten all bracket mounting bolts to 9 nm (80 lb in). The exhaust system installation ends with reattachment to rear exhaust hangers followed by lowering the vehicle.

Reconnect the alc electrical harness connector while you install the alc bracket side mounting nut and secure the alc bracket mounting bolts which need to be tightened to 9 n.m (80 lb in). The last step involves reattaching the exhaust system to rear exhaust hangers while lowering down the vehicle.

Disconnect the ALC electrical harness connector.

Position the ALC bracket to the ALC compressor.

Disconnect the exhaust system from the rear exhaust hangers.
