    Q:
How to replace the A/C Condenser on Buick Lucerne? Posted by Customer
    A:
To replace the air conditioning condenser, first you should recover the refrigerant. The front compartment sight shield will be removed, then the hood latch support. Take the evaporator hose by removing the nut and the hose and dispose of the sealing washers. Then, take out the suction hose bolt and suction hose, neither of which can be reused (sealing washers are discarded again). At this point, you have to remove the mounting bolts from the condenser line towards the radiator mounting bolt. Remove the condenser mounting bolts and you will then remove the condenser out of radiator retainer and then remove it from the vehicle. If you are installing a new condenser, add refrigerant oil into it. Mount the new condenser in the radiator retainer, while making sure to torque the mounting bolts worth 9 nm (80 lb in) and reuse the condenser line mounting bracket. Secure the condenser line to radiator mounting bolt when tightening at 6 nm (53 lb in) and replace with new sealing washers. Reroute the suction hose and torque the suction hose bolt to 16 nm (12 lb ft) having the help of some new seal washers. Secure both the evaporator hose by tightening the nut of the evaporator hose to 16 nm (12 lb ft). Replace the hood latch bracket, recharge the a/c system, and conduct a leak test with the j 39400-a - halogen leak detector. Finally, install the front compartment sight shield.

How to replace the A/C Condenser on Cadillac DTS? Posted by Customer
    A:
To remove the air condition condenser, first remove the refrigerant. In the end, take away the front compartment sight shield, upper tie bar, and hood latch support. Remove the discharge and the suction hoses from the condenser by using a nut breaker to remove the nuts on the hoses and dispose of the sealing washers. Next, remove them condenser lines to Radiator mounting bolt, and on the case engine oil cooler lines if they may equipped. Remove the condenser mounting bolts and replace the condenser out from the Radiator retainer, and the vehicle. In the case of installing a new condenser, add refrigerant oil to it. Prepare the condenser to be installed into the Radiator retainer and to fasten it with mounting bolts tightening to 9 nm (80 lb in). Mount the old condenser onto the condenser mounting bracket and mount the condenser line to Radiator mounting bolt and bolt it 6 nm (53 lb in). Reconnect the engine oil cooed lines to the Radiator and make sure it is clicked into place and slide the plastic cap over the quick connect junction. Fitting new sealing washers, attach the suction hose and tighten the nut to 16 nm (12 lb ft). Connect the liquid and close its nut to 20 nm (15 lb ft). Replace the hood latch bracket and upper tie bar. Then recharge the a/c system and conduct leak test on fittings as per the j 39400-a. Finally, replace the front compartment sight shield.
