    Begin by removing the air intake duct before removing both wing screws on the air cleaner cover and finally removing the cover. Before installing the new Air Filter, check the air cleaner assembly for dirt, dust and water before performing a replacement. Remove all loose debris which accumulates at the base of the air cleaner assembly housing. Position the Air Filter into the air cleaner assembly and replace the air cleaner cover by adhering to the fastener notice in service precautions. Whoa the wing screws securing the air cleaner cover before tightening them to 1.5 n.m (13 lb in) while also reinstalling the air intake duct.

    To service the Air Filter do, first disconnect the electrical connector from intake air temperature (IAT) sensor. After that, ensure you carefully unhook the intake air duct from the Throttle Body and the air cleaner cover. Unscrew the screws that hold maintain the cover of air cleaner assembly, pull off the cover of air cleaner and delicately remove the Air Filter. For installation, assemble the Air Filter into the air cleaner assembly by observing the fastener notice within service precautions. Install the housing cover as well as the retaining screws and tighten them at 4 nm (35 lb in). Lastly, re-install the intake air duct and reconnect the electrical connector back to the iat sensor.

    Begin Air Filter servicing by disconnecting the maf/iat sensor electrical connector followed by releasing the intake air duct clamp from the Throttle Body and detaching the intake air from the Throttle Body connection. Start by disengaging both air cleaner cover latches before you remove the air cleaner cover. Check the air cleaner housing assembly for damage and perform a replacement if needed. After you remove the Air Filter you must install the new air cleaner before securing the air cleaner housing cover in place. Check that the air cleaner base has two secure latches which properly hold the cover in place. Proceed with installing the intake air duct to the Throttle Body then secure the clamp assembly to 3 n.m (27 lb in) torque before installing the maf/iat sensor electrical connector.

    In order to replace the air cleaner, you must first disconnect the electrical connector from the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor. Carefully remove the intake air duct from the Throttle Body, then take out the screw that hold the air cleaner assembly cover. Take off the air cleaner cover and gently take hold of the Air Filter. In installing, carefully locate the Air Filter and slide it into the air cleaner assembly and follow the fastener notice in service precautions. Following this, install the housing cover and fasten this with the retaining screws by tightening them to 4 n.m (35 lb in). Last, there should be the reinstallation of the intake air duct and the hookup of the electrical connector to the sensor of the iat.
