Secure all pcm harness connector one to the pcm body unit by tightening each harness connector retaining bolt to 8 n.m (71 lb in). A new pcm needs sps programming as the first step after its installation.

Replacing or programming the electrically erasable programmable read-only memory (EEPROM) makes up the majority of powertrain control module (PCM) service operations. Install the ECM bracket and its bolts, tightening the cylinder head bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in) and the engine front cover bolt to 23 N.m (17 lb ft).
