    The replacement of the battery positive cable Fuse begins with removing the negative Battery Cable. First remove the Fuse cover before disconnecting the starter solenoid cable nut along with its terminal from the Fuse stud. Fuse nut of the generator battery jumper cable together with its terminal must be removed from the Fuse stud before disconnection of the positive Battery Cable terminal. Transfer the new Fuse to the empty holder position. After securement of the positive Battery Cable terminal to the Fuse stud one should proceed with connecting the generator battery jumper cable terminal and the generator battery jumper cable to Fuse nut before tightening the nut to 9 n.m (80 lb in). Connect the starter solenoid cable terminal followed by its nut to the Fuse stud while tightening both elements to 9 n.m (80 lb in). Replace the Fuse cover afterward you restore the negative Battery Cable.

Before replacing the Fuse you should remove the solenoid terminal from the Fuse stud then disconnect the starter solenoid cable terminal and the starter solenoid cable nut. Begin by removing the generator battery jumper cable to Fuse nut and then its terminal from the Fuse stud before taking off the positive Battery Cable terminal from the same stud. Place the new Fuse into the holder after removing it from the holder. Reinstall the positive Battery Cable terminal onto the Fuse stud and then attach the generator battery jumper cable terminal to the same Fuse stud. Fasten the generator battery jumper cable to Fuse nut by tightening it at 15 nm (11 lb ft). Start by attaching the starter solenoid cable terminal to the Fuse stud and fasten it with the starter solenoid cable nut while reaching a torque of 15 nm (11 lb ft). The repair ends with return of the Fuse cover and connection of the negative Battery Cable.

Remove both the upper mega fuse nut and the required mega fuse when needed by the procedure. Begin the installation process by tightening the appropriate mega fuse then add the upper mega fuse nut only when needed to 9 n.m (80 lb in). First sequence the installation of auxiliary battery positive cable to fuse studs before adding generator battery jumper cable terminal and generator battery jumper cable to fuse nut while tightening them to 9 n.m (80 lb in). The starter solenoid cable terminal requires attachment to the fuse stud together with its nut which must be tightened to 9 n.m (80 lb in). To complete the procedure replace the mega fuse cover after reconnecting the auxiliary battery negative cable.
