    Q:
How to replace the Exhaust Hanger and Insulator from the converter to the transmission on Buick Rainier? Posted by Customer
    A:
Replacing the exhaust system insulator, hanger, and bracket from the converter to the transmission requires first raising the vehicle. First remove the heated Oxygen Sensor electrical connection before removing the nuts from the Catalytic Converter pipe-to-exhaust manifold connection and discard both the old exhaust seal and nuts. Start by removing the nuts which connect the Catalytic Converter pipe to the Muffler followed by the bolt anchoring the Exhaust Hanger to the transmission mount before taking out the transmission mount. The installation process begins by removing both the Catalytic Converter and Exhaust Hanger assembly before dissembling the Exhaust Hanger from the Catalytic Converter. First position the Catalytic Converter into the vehicle while installing the Exhaust Hanger to it then reinstall the assembly combined with the Catalytic Converter and Exhaust Hanger. Attach the transmission mount with a 30 nm (22 ft. Lbs.) bolt securing the Catalytic Converter pipe hanger right before reinstalling the transmission mount. Secure the Catalytic Converter pipe to the Exhaust Manifold with a new exhaust seal before evenly threading the nuts by hand against the exhaust flange until secure then tighten them to 50 nm (37 ft. Lbs.). Reconnect the h2os electrical connector after lowering the vehicle.

    Q:
How to replace the exhaust hanger on Chevrolet Colorado? Posted by Customer
    A:
Vehicle lifting with support is necessary to replace the exhaust hanger but safety requirements for exhaust service including protective gear must always be followed. Use any lubricant except oil-based ones during all procedure stages. A soapy solution applied to both frame support bracket rod and exhaust pipe hanger rod will make it easier to remove the hanger. The exhaust pipe hanger needs to be gently dislodged from its position between the frame support bracket rod and the exhaust pipe hanger rod . Install the frame support bracket rod by using a soapy solution on both it and the inner diameter of the exhaust pipe hanger and the exhaust pipe hanger rod . Use both your hands to apply the exhaust pipe hanger onto the frame support bracket rod while simultaneously applying it to the exhaust pipe hanger rod . Once secured, lower the vehicle.

    Q:
How to service the exhaust hangers and maintain the support of the exhaust system on Chevrolet Colorado? Posted by Customer
    A:
Service the exhaust hangers while supporting the exhaust system by first raising your vehicle on its stands. Oil-based lubricants should never be used because of their improper execution. A soapy solution treated to both the frame support bracket rod and exhaust pipe hanger rod will help exhaust pipe hanger removal. Use the tool to separate the exhaust pipe hanger while it is free from both the frame support bracket rod and the exhaust pipe hanger rod . The correct soapy solution serves as a safe installation aid by being applied to the frame support bracket rod and the inner diameter of the exhaust pipe hanger and exhaust pipe hanger rod. Lower the vehicle while mounting the exhaust pipe hanger to the frame support bracket rod followed by attaching it to the exhaust pipe hanger rod.

    Q:
How to Replace an Adjustable Exhaust Hanger on Chevrolet Trailblazer? Posted by Customer
    A:
Start servicing and repairing the exhaust system insulator and hanger and bracket using the Adjustable Exhaust Hanger by properly supporting and raising the vehicle. yetistirgesinde the exhaust hanger bracket assembly bolts must be removed and then detach the adjustable exhaust hanger bracket assembly from the muffler hanger rod. Remove the 2 U-clips situated in the locations (1 and 2) along the spare tire crossmember slots. New U-clips should be positioned into slots (1 and 2) of the spare tire crossmember and properly seated for installation. Secure the adjustable exhaust hanger bracket assembly to the muffler hanger rod through 2 bolts with hand-tightening. Enter the fasteners with care because they can create harm to the vehicle structure. To finish installation position the adjustable exhaust hanger bracket assembly correctly while ensuring the exhaust tip has 25 mm (1 in) space from the rear fascia opening before torquing bolts to 22 Nm (16 lb ft).

How to service the exhaust hangers and ensure the support of the exhaust system on GMC Canyon? Posted by Customer
    A:

The entire process must avoid the use of oil-based lubrication. How to service and repair the Exhaust Hanger on GMC Envoy? Posted by Customer
    A:
The first step to service the Exhaust Pipe/muffler hanger demands vehicle lift procedure. Remove the heated Oxygen Sensor (H2OS) electrical connector together with the Catalytic Converter pipe nuts that attach to the Exhaust Manifold. Start by unwinding the nuts holding the Catalytic Converter pipe to the muffler then move on to the bolt which fastens the Exhaust Hanger to the transmission mount and finally take out the transmission mount. Pull out the Catalytic Converter along with its Exhaust Hanger assembly from the car body before disconnecting the hanger from the converter component. First attach the Exhaust Hanger to the Catalytic Converter before placing the installed Catalytic Converter and Exhaust Hanger assembly into the vehicle. The bolt used to secure the Catalytic Converter pipe hanger to the transmission mount needs to be tightened to 30 n.m (22 lb ft). The first step should be mounting the transmission followed by installing a new exhaust seal between the Exhaust Manifold and Catalytic Converter pipe. Use hands to evenly secure nuts against the exhaust flange before torquing them to 50 n.m (37 lb ft). Complete the operation by reconnecting the h2os electrical connector then lowering the vehicle.
