The first step for changing the rear side door latch requires you to close your window completely. First uninstall the door trim panel along with the water deflector. Lock rods inside the door handle should be separated from the latch mechanism while disconnecting the outside handle lock rod from the outside handle. Secure the door replacement process by removing 3 fasteners designated as part number 123456 which hold the latch to the door and by disconnecting electrical connectors attached to the latch before extracting the latch from the door. After taking the actuator out you should proceed to take it off the latch. To install the actuator users should first place the latch into the door before attaching the actuator to the latch. Connect the electrical connectors to the latch while following the Fastener Notice before tightening the three fasteners (part number: 123456) to 10 N.m (89 lb in). The installation process begins by putting the outside handle lock rod to its place on the outside handle followed by the inside door handle lock rod going to the latch. The last step includes putting back the door trim panel together with the water deflector.

The first step to replace the front side door latch requires you to close the window completely. The repair starts by taking off the door trim panels together with the rear portion of the water deflector. You need to disengage the lock rod retaining clip from the outside Door Handle while pulling out the rod from its position. After unlocking the cylinder rod when available detach it from the cylinder followed by removing the inside Door Handle. Start by removing the 3 screws which fasten the latch to the door then position the latch to access the electrical connectors as needed before taking it from the door. Take note of the lock rod positions on both the inside and outside handle then remove them from the latch followed by the actuator. Begin by fitting the actuator with the latch and afterward install the outside and inside handle lock rods at the proper locations designated previously. Place the latch to connect its electrical connectors and mount it into the door slot while tightening 3 screws at 10 n.m (89 lb in). Install the inside Door Handle while attaching the lock cylinder rod to the cylinder (if present) and then route the lock rod to the outside handle before fastening it with the clip. The completion requires installing the door trim panel along with the water deflector.

Install the latch assembly bolts, tightening them to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

Close the clip cover over the threaded outside door handle rod, then attach the inside handle rod and lock rod to the door handle, securing them with clips. Finally, install the retaining clips to the handle rod and lock rod, inspect the lock system for proper operation, and reinstall the rear door water deflector and rear door trim panel.

Attach the rubber bumper to the latch.

Open the rear compartment and release the lock rod from the lock cylinder.
