    Q:
How to replace the rear wiper motor on Chevrolet S10? Posted by Customer
    A:
After taking out the Wiper Arm from the shaft remove the motor nut and spacer. Pull out the interior panel and unplug the electrical connector at the controller. Take out the Wiper Motor by removing its two screws. Insert the Wiper Motor onto the car through its two screws but center the motor shaft in the tailgate opening before tightening the screws to 6.5 n.m / 57 lb in torque setting. After connecting the electrical wires to the controller you can put back the interior trim panel and finish installing the spacer and nut at similar tightness levels as the motor. Rehabilitate the Wiper Arm to its correct position on the automobile.

    Q:
How to replace the wiper motor on GMC Jimmy? Posted by Customer
    A:
To replace the wiper motor you need Wiper Transmission Separator (J 39232) and Wiper Transmission Installer (J 39529). Steps start with taking off both wiper arms and the air inlet grille panel. Apply the Wiper Transmission Separator (J 39232) to separate the transmission from its connection with the wiper motor drive link. Then disconnect the electrical connector from the wiper motor part. Use your fingers to unfasten the three wiper motor vehicle screws. Secure the three wiper motor screws into position on the vehicle surface and tighten each screw to 6.5 N.m (57 lb in). Return the electrical connector to its place while applying white lithium grease GM P/N 9985885 or equivalent to the socket. Install the wiper transmission onto the crank arm beyond the second detent to squeeze the seal to 25.5 mm but not more than 1 inch in height. Insert the Transmission Wiper Installer tool on the crank arm ball of the wiper motor to finish the installation. Replace the air inlet grille panel with the wiper arms.
