    The front upper speaker replacement procedure begins with assist handle removal before extracting the trim plate retaining screw and uninstalling the escutcheon from it. Afterward, swing the plate down and disconnect the electrical connector from the tweeter speaker. The tweeter speaker needs to be swung down while rotating its mount before users disconnect the electrical connector. Installation requires connecting the electrical connector after which the tweeter speaker needs to be mounted onto the trim plate through tab rotation until it securely locks. Check the component performance afterward you should position the trim plate upwards before reattaching the escutcheon onto the plate. After fitting the retaining screw onto the trim plate use 2 Nm (18 lb in) of torque then restore the assist handle to the door system.

Connect the electrical connector first and install the tweeter speaker to the trim plate by rotating until the mounting tabs secure. Validate component performance after which raise the trim plate while adding the escutcheon to it. The service procedures outline to use the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions to secure the retaining screw into the trim plate until it reaches a torque of 2 N.m (18 lb in). After this step, reinstall the assist handle back on the door.
