The first step to replace the crew cab rear door speaker involves removing its trim panel. First disconnect the electrical connector from the speaker then remove the screws which secure the speaker to its mounting bracket. You should disconnect the speaker from its bracket before taking out the bolts that connect the speaker bracket to the door. The installation process starts by attaching the speaker mounting bracket followed by putting back any missing bolts for the bracket-to-door attachment and tightening them to 6 N.m (53 lb in). Put the speaker on mounting bracket before you reconnect the electrical connector. After tightening the screws to 2 N.m (53 lb in) secure the speaker and restore the door trim panel before completing an operation check of the component.

Before doing anything else, remove the garnish from the back, take out the speaker and separate all the necessary cables. First, attach the wires to the connectors, then set the speaker in place and secure it, finally repeating the installation of the garnish molding to complete the job. In the end, check that the component operates as expected.

You should start your replacement of crew cab rear door speakers by removing all door trim parts. The speaker must be disconnected from power by removing first the screws which attach it to its mounting bracket then disconnecting the electrical connector. Cut off the speaker then remove its mounting bracket before you disassemble the bracket mounting points on the door. Place the speaker mounting bracket in position on the door while tightening its bolts to 6 N.m (53 lb in). First, connect the electrical connector to the speaker followed by its installation onto the mounting bracket. Use the screws to fasten the speaker afterward tightening them to 2 N.m (53 lb in). Then reinstall the door trim panel. Check the component functionality once installation has been completed.

Place the speaker mounting bracket back in position and secure it with the bolts to the door, tightening them to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

Remove the speaker from the mounting bracket and, if necessary, take out the bolts that hold the speaker mounting bracket to the door before removing the bracket itself.

Remove the 2 front seats and slightly move the center console rearward to disconnect the wire connector.

Secure the speaker with the screws, tightening them to 2 N.m (53 lb in).

Install the console to the I/P and finally reinstall the 2 front seats.

Push down on the retainer to remove the speaker and disconnect the electrical connector.

Continue moving the console back to access the subwoofer speaker.

Connect the electrical connector.

Attach the speaker to the mounting bracket and reconnect the electrical connector.

Attach the speaker to the mounting bracket, reconnect the electrical connector, and secure the speaker with the screws, tightening them to 2 N.m (53 lb in).

Snap the speaker into place by securing the top retainer.

Install the console to the I/P and finally reinstall the 2 front seats.

Finally, verify the component's operation.

Disconnect the electrical connector from the speaker.

Disconnect the wire connector and take out the speaker from the subwoofer assembly.

Snap the speaker into place by securing the top retainer.

Install the speaker by snapping it into place, ensuring it is fully seated.

Reinstall the trim panel and inspect the component's operation.

Remove the windshield garnish molding.

Press the speaker out of the molding.

Remove the trim panel.

Remove the door trim panel.
