    The first step for changing the Master Cylinder Fluid Level Sensor is to unplug the brake fluid level sensor connector. Press inward on the retaining tabs at the other side of the electric connector as you gently pull the sensor out of the master cylinder reservoir and take out the low brake fluid level sensor. Make sure it is the right way up, then push the brake fluid level sensor into the master cylinder reservoir until the tabs lock. At last, attach the brake fluid level sensor's electrical connector.

    First disconnect the electrical wire from the brake fluid level indicator switch. Using tools adjust the locking tabs of the brake fluid switch from the inside of the master cylinder reservoir to release it. Install the brake fluid level indicator switch into the master cylinder reservoir by pushing it home until the tabs lock securely. Reattach the electrical cable to the brake fluid indicator switch last.
