    You must turn off the sir system before you can replace the Turn Signal Switch. Uncover both Steering Column trims and remove every screw from the Turn Signal Switch. Distribute the electrical wires and snap them loose. Plug the electrical connections to the new switch and attach it to the Steering Column afterward. Replace the Steering Column trim covers and install the retaining screws at 7 nm (62 inch lbs.) strength before bringing back the sir system.
