How to replace the LH Lash Adjuster on 2001 Cadillac DeVille?

In order to replace the left valve lifter, first, remove the left valve rocker arms, then remove the stationary hydraulic lash adjusters (SHLA) from the bores. Service the valve lifters. While fitting it, do not stroke or cycle the seventh hydraulic Lash Adjuster plunger without oil in the lower pressure chamber. Fill the stationary hydraulic Lash Adjuster (SHLA) with fresh oil gm p/n 12378006 or its equivalent, without scratching the pivot sphere area of the shla. Next, replace the new shla's in the bores but reorient the left valve rocker arms.
