How to replace the rear control arm bushings on 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier?

To replace rear Control Arm bushings first, raise and support the vehicle, subsequently remove tire and wheel assembly. Detach the brake hoses from axle and pull the wheel speed sensor harness from retainers on axle. Then, start removing the bolts, washers, and nuts from the Control Arm and rotate the arm down to reveal the bushings. Install the rear Control Arm bushing adapter (J29376-95) to the rear Control Arm, and attach the coupling from the rear Control Arm bushing service set (J29376-A), onto the adapter. Assemble the tools for removing the bushing that consist of: the inch bolt (J21474-19), the remover that is part of the rear Control Arm bushing service set (J29376-A), the Pressure Plate from the rear Control Arm bushing service set (J29376-A), and the inch nut (J21474-18). Tighten the inch bolt (J21474-19) completely in order to extract the bushing from the Control Arm, later dismount the tools of arrangement. For installation, coat the outer part of the new bushing with a light coat of grease, install the bushing in Control Arm and assemble the bushing installation tool - which includes the inch bolt (J21474-19): the Pressure Plate from the rear Control Arm bushing service set (J29376-A) ; the installer from the rear Control Arm bushing service set (J29376-A); and the inch nut (J21474-18). Tighten the inch bolt (J21474-19) so that the bushing settles in the Control Arm; afterwards, disassemble the installation tools. Install the bottom bolts, nuts, and washers, hand tighten the nuts, and then re-install the wheel speed sensor harness and connect brake hoses to the rear axle. Lastly, connect the tire and wheel assemblies to the vehicle, drop it, and use a torque wrench to tighten the nuts on Control Arm to 120 nm (52ft lbs).
