  A: The first step is to drain the engine coolant from the cooling system to replace the oil cooler outlet line. Remove the oil cooler pipe bracket bolt at the right engine mount strut bracket and disable the upper oil cooler outlet hose from the thermostat bypass pipe. Lift and support the vehicle, disconnect the lower oil cooler outlet hose from the cooler, and take out the oil cooler outlet hoses and pipe. Next, unplug the upper or lower oil cooler outlet hose(s) from the oil cooler pipe. For installation install the upper or lower oil cooler outlet hose(s) to the oil cooler pipe followed with oil cooler outlet hoses and pipe. Leverage the lower oil cooler output hose to the oil cooler, bring down the vehicle, and attach the upper oil cooler output hose to the thermostat bypass pipe. Mount the oil cooler pipe bracket bolt into the right engine mount strut bracket and tighten it to 10 nm (89 inch lbs.). Lastly, top up the engine with engine coolant, engine oil if needed, and have a look at the oil cooler for leaks.
