A: The service of the Camshaft Position Sensor begins with disconnecting the negative Battery Cable. Before installing the camshaft position (CMP) sensor begin by taking out the Intake Manifold as well as disconnecting the electrical connector from the sensor and thoroughly cleaning the cmp area to keep dust out of the engine.
