How to replace the power seat switch on 2004 Cadillac CTS?

When replacing the power seat switch it is essential to disable the SIR system first. You need to remove the adjuster track seat cushion to reach the power seat switch. A flat bladed tool should be used to carefully remove the knobs from the switch. Twist the retainer clamps which fasten the power seat switch bezel against the seat cushion frame then gently pop it off. To reach the power seat switch you must first remove the power seat switch bezel while freeing the J channel retainers. The power seat switch on the seat cushion frame requires removal of its push-in fastener so you can slide the power seat switch out. Check that the electrical wires follow the right path to prevent damages. Detach the power seat switch's electrical connector from its location. Begin by placing the wiring harness exactly as it was before then attach the electrical connector to the power seat switch before sliding the component up into the seat cushion frame. Using the push-in fastener, fix the power seat switch and then apply the seat cushion cover before fitting the power seat switch bezel to secure all fasteners.
