How to replace the memory seat switch on 2004 Cadillac CTS?

One needs to start the Door Lock Switch replacement by committing a flat-bladed device between the front edge of the switch to free the retaining mechanism from the door trim panel followed by disconnecting the electrical connection from the lock switch. More work can be done using a flat-bladed tool to release locking tabs located on each side of the switch before extracting the lock switch. After inserting the Door Lock Switch into the door switch bezel the electrical connector should be connected and pushing down on the front of the Door Lock Switch will allow it to engage with the door trim panel.
