The procedure for crankshaft oil seal replacement starts with eliminating the power steering pump and A/C Compressor belts before proceeding to generator and water pump belts and finishing with removal of crankshaft balancer. A flat-bladed tool will facilitate the extraction of the crankshaft oil seal. The installation process requires not oiling either the crankshaft front oil seal or the crankshaft balancer sealing surfaces. The process begins by using j29184 oil seal installer to put in the new crankshaft front oil seal after which you can replace the crankshaft balancer then proceed to reinstall the generator and water pump Drive Belt and end by installing the A/C Compressor and power steering pump Drive Belt.
