After extracting the surge tank inlet hose assembly from the vehicle wipe the inside diameter of new parts with fresh coolant before final installation. Thread the surge tank inlet hose to the Radiator before using hose clamp pliers (J38185) to reposition the hose clamp at the Radiator and then connect the hose to the air bleed pipe assembly. Use hose clamp pliers (J38185) to adjust hose clamps initially at the Throttle Body assembly before joining the surge tank hose and finally repositioning surge tank clamps through use of the hose clamp pliers (J38185).
