How to replace the inlet radiator hose on 2005 Chevrolet Corvette?

The first step to replace the Radiator inlet hose includes draining the cooling system while removing the Radiator support. The hose clamp pliers (J38185) can be used to loosen tension on the Radiator inlet hose clamp at the Radiator before disconnecting the hose from the Radiator. Take the hose clamp from the hose clamp pliers (J38185) to let go of clamp tension at the Water Pump before detaching the hose from the Water Pump. Disconnect the Radiator inlet hose from the exterior of the automobile. Alignment of reference marks between hoses and Radiator during installation will prevent unnecessary strain on the fittings. Before installing the Radiator inlet hose to the vehicle it requires application of clean coolant on the inside diameter. Connect the hose to the Water Pump by using hose clamp pliers (J38185) to apply tension on the clamp at the Water Pump. Insert the Radiator inlet hose and tighten its clamp at the Radiator through the hose clamp pliers (J38185). Reinstall the Radiator support while conducting the cooling system fill and maintenance.
