How to replace the brake master cylinder on 2006 Cadillac CTS?

Before replacing the Brake Master Cylinder unplug the electrical sensor and disconnect all pipes while protecting the exposed hose ends with rubber plugs to keep brake fluid safe. First take off the two mounting bolts securing the master cylinder then extract it from its place. When keeping the components you need to unfasten the reservoir from the master cylinder. Put the Brake Master Cylinder reservoir back on the master cylinder if it was taken off then bleed the master cylinder on a workbench. Connect the vacuum Brake Booster to the master cylinder with its 2 mounting nuts and tighten them to 25 nm (18 ft. Lbs). Disembarrass the brake pipe plugs afterwards and join the brake hoses to the master cylinder using 38 nm (28 ft. Lbs) of torque. After reconnecting the sensor power wire you should bleed the brakes according to procedure.
