How to replace the brake master cylinder on 2007 Cadillac CTS?

Start the replacement process by unplugging the brake fluid sensor and brake pipes from the master cylinder before placing rubber plugs on all exposed brake fittings. Replace the Brake Master Cylinder by first installing plugs in all brake pipe ends then unscrewing 2 mounting nuts and taking out the unit. Disassemble the system by taking out the reservoir if you will use it again. Install the Brake Master Cylinder reservoir onto the master cylinder when reusing it and perform a bench bleeding procedure on the master cylinder. Fasten the master cylinder onto the vacuum Brake Booster and tighten its 2 mounting nuts to 25 n.m (18 lb ft). Insert and tighten brake pipes onto the master cylinder at 38 n.m (28 lb ft). Reconnect the sensor electrical cable before bleeding all brake system components.
