How to replace the hydraulic hose for the clutch on 2008 Cadillac CTS?

The replacement process begins with removing surge tank bolts to move the tank aside. For the replacement task begin by extracting the Clutch Master Cylinder retaining clip which holds the clutch Hydraulic Hose in place then install a cap or plug onto the separated fittings to stop fluid leakage and contaminant entry. Begin by disconnecting the clutch Hydraulic Hose from the Clutch Master Cylinder while raising and supporting the vehicle. Then remove the clutch Hydraulic Hose retaining clip from the Clutch Slave Cylinder. The clutch Hydraulic Hose connecting to the Clutch Slave Cylinder requires removal while checking that fluid loss can be minimized by the built-in check valves. First detach the clutch Hydraulic Hose retainer then extract the clutch Hydraulic Hose from your vehicle.
