How to replace the brake master cylinder on 2008 Cadillac XLR?

First step to replace the Brake Master Cylinder includes disconnecting power from the Brake Fluid Level Sensor while also disconnecting the brake pipes from the component and sealing exposed ends with rubber caps to preserve brake fluid. After plugging open brake pipe ends you need to loosen and remove the master cylinder mounting nuts to take it out of the vehicle. Withdraw all brake liquid from the master cylinder storage unit. Put the master cylinder into bench mode and put it onto the Brake Booster following the fastener warning. Fasten the master cylinder in place using mounting nuts and tighten them until they reach 29 n.m torque force (21 lb ft). Join the brake pipe connectors to the master cylinder and tighten them to 24 n.m (18 lb ft). Reattach the electrical connector to the Brake Fluid Level Sensor before bleeding the hyraulic brake system.
