    A: Before starting the disc replacement you must free the park brake and securely lift the vehicle. Take out the wheel and tire unit before disconnecting the park brake cable from the apply lever. Use a c-clamp to push the bleeder valve and pull on the piston rod to free the brake caliper. Afterwards secure the adapted caliper with wire mechanics to shield the brake line. Separate the caliper bracket bolts without breaking the connector when removing the bracket assembly and keep the caliper stable with wire. Before starting to remove the disc mark its position to wheel studs. If you find the disc hard to take out use the disc removal tool j-46277 along with the slide hammer j 2619-01 adapter. Look for damage in the park brake components and replace damaged components according to service needs. You need to use wheel hub resurfacing kit (J 42450-A) to clean the hub/axle flange and disc resurfacing kit j 41013) to prepare the Brake Disc before installation. Put back all loose park brake parts and set proper space between park brake shoes. Use the matchmark to install the Brake Disc properly and test the assembled lateral runout when needed to reach excellent braking results. Reinstall the brake caliper and bracket assembly then put back the tire and wheel setup before lowering the vehicle. Burnishing new brake pads or discs becomes necessary after installation.
