How to replace the Power Steering Hose at the Reservoir Outlet on 2008 Chevrolet Equinox?

A proper replacement of the power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose starts with the removal of the fuel injector sight shield followed by draining as much power steering fluid from the remote power steering fluid reservoir. Placing drain pans beneath the vehicle starts by removing the right splash shield located on the engine side. Press the Power Steering Reservoir outlet hose clamp before disconnecting the outlet hose from the remote power steering fluid reservoir and from the Power Steering Pump to perform the hose removal. Begin by fitting the new Power Steering Reservoir outlet hose inside the vehicle. Then compress the hose clamp along with connecting the hose to both Power Steering Pump and remote power steering fluid reservoir. The job requires cleaning surplus fluid before reinstalling both the right side engine splash shield and the fuel injector sight shield. The power steering system requires final filling before bleeding it.
