How to replace the power steering pump on 2008 Chevrolet Equinox?

In order to change the power steering pump, remove the drive belt and lay it aside. Drain out the power steering fluid and dismount the engine splash shield on the right side. Unscrew the hoses, take out the pump and put in the new pump. Restore the hose connections, re- clip on the splash shield and fill the system.
