How to replace the front wheel bearing and hub on 2008 Chevrolet Impala?

You need to lift the vehicle before starting work on the Wheel Bearing and hub. Take off the wheel and tire afterward disconnect the speed sensor electrical wire if it exists before removing the part from its holder. Unscrew both the front wheel drive shaft nut and brake rotor from the assembly before proceeding. Put three wheel nuts onto the j 42129 wheel hub remover (J 42129) before attaching this tool to the Wheel Bearing/hub. Push the wheel drive shaft out of the Wheel Bearing/hub using the j 42129. Take apart and throw away the old Wheel Bearing/hub bolts while taking out the j 42129 without harming the wheel drive shaft outer seal/boot. Take out the Wheel Bearing/hub together with the splash shield while keeping track of the shield position for installation. Install the Wheel Bearing assembly into its original position and position the splash shield in its designated place. Replace all fasteners with new ones to maintain proper vehicle handling. Secure the new Wheel Bearing/hub bolts to 130 n.m (96 lb. Ft). Place the brake rotor and caliper back and fasten the front wheel drive shaft nut in the right position with the connector clip locking in place. Join the Wheel Speed Sensor electrical connector to its attachment space if necessary and connect the Wheel Speed Sensor electrical connector if needed. Place the tire and wheel onto the vehicle before lowering it into position.
