How to replace the rear wheel bearing and hub on 2008 Chevrolet Impala?

Accessory lifting should start before you replace the rear Wheel Bearing and hub assembly. Take off both tires first along with the wheels before extracting the brake rotor. Unplug the abs electrical wire from the Wheel Speed Sensor when present, then disconnect the park brake cable from its actuator. You need to detach mounting bolts holding the rear bearing assembly and pull out the complete Wheel Bearing/hub and park brake parts from the knuckle. Take off the park brake actuator from the rear Wheel Bearing/hub. Fit the park brake actuator to the Wheel Bearing/hub at its rear position before putting back the Wheel Bearing/hub with park brake assembly onto the knuckle. Seal the Wheel Bearing/hub-to-knuckle bolts carefully and tighten them firmly to 75 n.m (55 lb ft). Reassemble the park brake cable to the actuator while joining the abs electric wire to the wheel sensor if it exists. Set the brake rotor back inside then place tires and wheels on bottom before returning the vehicle to the ground.
