How to replace the rear wheel bearing/hub assembly on 2007 Chevrolet Impala?

The replacement procedure starts by elevating and stabilizing the vehicle followed by wheel tire brake rotor removal from front to back. A proper replacement of the rear Wheel Bearing/hub assembly starts with disconnecting the abs electrical connector from wheel speed sensors on equipped vehicles then removing the park brake cable from the park brake actuator. Begin by extracting the rear bearing/hub mounting bolts before removing Wheel Bearing/hub together with park brake assembly from the knuckle and afterward extracting the park brake actuator from the rear Wheel Bearing/hub. Attach the park brake actuator to the rear Wheel Bearing/hub and place the Wheel Bearing/hub together with park brake assembly onto the knuckle. Insert Wheel Bearing/hub-to-knuckle bolts and fasten them until they reach a torque of 75 n.m (55 lb ft). Leader the park brake cable back to the park brake actuator while connecting the abs electrical connector to the Wheel Speed Sensor if your vehicle has this equipment. Before lowering the vehicle finish by reinstalling brake rotors then tires along with wheels.
