How to replace the rear axle lower control arm (W/FE1, FE3) on 2009 Cadillac DTS?

Changing the rear axle lower Control Arm (w/FE1, FE3) requires starting with removal of the rear suspension support assembly. Start by removing the stabilizer shaft link bolt along with its stabilizer shaft insulators and spacer. Hub along with bearing must be removed if required. Begin by leaving the lower Control Arm behind after separating its nuts and bolts from the rear suspension support assembly. Tighten Control Arm nuts when the vehicle rests on its wheels at normal trim height and when unsupported. Attach the lower Control Arm to the rear suspension support assembly while also installing Wheel Bearing and hub components if they exist. Tighten the stabilizer shaft link nut to 15 nm (11 lb ft) after installing the link bolt, spacer, insulator, and nut. Installation requires the rear suspension support assembly to be reattached while the vehicle sits at normal ride height. Tighten the Control Arm nuts and bolts to 106 nm (78 lb ft) torque specifications. Finally, lower the vehicle.
