How to replace the Transmission Oil Cooler Hose (AWD) on 2009 Cadillac SRX?

You must begin by taking out the engine Oil Filter when replacing the transmission fluid cooler hose/pipe (AWD). Begin the procedure by removing the left side intermediate shaft bearing assembly. Perform the tool operation with j 44827 to disconnect the toc lines from the Radiator and extract the toc line to transmission retaining bolt as well as the rear toc lines from the transmission. Due to removal of the o-rings perform the following steps: first disconnect the toc retainer bracket bolt and discard all o-rings. The tech must adjust the toc lines to gain access to the retainer bracket rivets which they will remove one by one. Drilling out all retainer bracket rivets will enable removal of the bracket and toc lines from their mounting position. The process of installation requires first attaching both toc lines and retainer bracket before riveting the bracket securely onto the lines. Fasten the toc retainer bracket bolt until it reaches 25 nm (18 lb ft) torque. Put new o-rings on the rear sections of the toc lines before fitting them to the transmission while installing the toc line transmission retaining bolt at 25 nm (18 lb ft). The final steps include attaching toc lines to the Radiator followed by reinstallation of the lh intermediate shaft bearing assembly and engine Oil Filter.
