How to replace the radiator surge tank inlet coolant pipe on 2009 Cadillac XLR?

To change the Radiator surge tank inlet hose/pipe, drain the cooling system. Remove the Radiator support. With hose clamp pliers (J 38185), disengage tension and reposition surge tanker inlet hose clamp at surge tank, as well as disconnect surge tank inlet hose from surge tank. Repeat the same process at the Throttle Body assembly and Radiator, removing the hoses in the process. After the removal of the surge tank inlet hose assembly off the vehicle, lubricate the interior of the new hose program with clean coolant prior to installation. Install the surge tank inlet hose assembly which then hook to the Radiator and reposition the hose clamp at the Radiator by using the hose clamp pliers (J 38185). Connect the hose to the Throttle Body assembly, and reposition the clamp with the hose clamp pliers (J 38185), and finally connect the hose back to the surge tank, adjusting the clamp at the surge tank using the hose clamp pliers (J 38185). Reinstall the Radiator support and fill the cooling system.
