  A: The process of changing the right rear parking brake cable starts by raising and supporting the vehicle followed by removing the right rear tire along with wheel assembly. Pull downwards at the intermediate park brake cable that is positioned near the park brake cable connector to accomplish its removal from the connector. The right rear park brake cable shall be disconnected from the intermediate park brake cable connector followed by right rear brake cable retainer depression using the J 37043 (Park Brake Cable Release Tool). After using the J 37043 to depress the right rear brake cable retainer the right rear park brake cable must be removed from its position on the right rear cable bracket . Use a J 37043 (Park Brake Cable Release Tool) to disconnect the right rear park brake cable from the right rear park brake actuator lever . After disconnection remove the cable. During installation the right rear park brake cable needs to be placed into the right rear park brake cable bracket with correct seating of locking tabs. To install the cable users need to attach it to both the right rear park brake actuator lever and mounting support bracket while verifying all locking tabs rest in their right position. The intermediate park brake cable connector should be joined to the right rear park brake cable followed by a pull down action on the cable's end near the connector before connecting it to the park brake connector.
