How to replace the A/C Switch for the heater and air conditioning control on 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt?

Climb into the replacement process of heater and air conditioning control by removing the instrument panel (I/P) center trim panel first. First remove the HVAC Control Module assembly screws before you can remove the assembly. Cables connecting hvac and radio systems must receive proper markings or taping to stop possible swapping between them. Trim the HVAC Control Module power supply cables before disconnecting. The HVAC Control Module installation starts with electrical connector connection to the assembly before mounting the assembly. After tightening the HVAC Control Module screws to 2.2 nm (19 lb in) you can reinstall the i/p center trim panel.
