How to replace the Lash Adjusters on Buick LeSabre?

You should start the Lash Adjuster replacement process by removing right valve Rocker Arm covers and gaskets before proceeding to remove left valve Rocker Arm. After removing the lower Intake Manifold and its gaskets move forward by keeping all valve train parts in their original order as you reinstall them with the same mating surfaces. Demount everything starting with rocker arms, pushrods, and pedestals before taking out valve guide retainer bolts and the valve guide retainer. Clean all gasket surfaces with degreaser while performing a thorough inspection of lash adjusters for wear and cam lobes for wear alongside valve train parts inspection. The lash adjusters should undergo a dip process with prelude gm p/n 12345501 or equivalent and will then be ready for installation with the lash adjusters before the Lash Adjuster guides and valve guide retainer. First tighten the valve guide retainer bolts to 30 nm (22 ft. Lbs.) then reinstall the valve rocker arms with the pushrods and pedestals. Complete the installation by fitting the lower Intake Manifold with gaskets and then adding right and left valve Rocker Arm covers that have gaskets on top.
