The universal steering linkage puller (J24319-B) enables tie rod removal from the Steering Knuckle and then separates the outer tie rod from the inner tie rod . To build the unit attach the outer Tie Rod End to the inner Tie Rod End without casing the jam nut before it joins the outer Tie Rod End with the Steering Knuckle. Fasten the outer tie rod lock nut correctly and use torque settings of 30 nm (22 ft. Lbs) plus an 180-degree turn.
