A screwdriver should be used to extend the retaining clip tab and let the reservoir clip move away from the hydraulic pump assembly. First remove the second reservoir clip through this same procedure and then pull out the reservoir from the hydraulic pump housing. The O-ring seal must be taken out from either inside the hydraulic pump housing or directly from the reservoir neck.
