Drop the manifold retainer from the exhaust flange. The front exhaust manifold pipe should be connected to the cylinder head stud before tightening to 25 n.m (18 lb ft) and then follow with the front exhaust manifold pipe to lower crankcase bolt which will also require 25 n.m (18 lb ft). Fasten the egr inlet pipe nut to the front exhaust manifold pipe by tightening it to 60 n.m (44 lb ft). Attach the front Exhaust Pipe to its mounts on the exhaust manifold before torquing these bolts to specifications of 25 n.m (18 lb ft). Disassemble the Catalytic Converter from rear exhaust manifold pipe nuts while placing the exhaust system further behind until exhaust studs reach clearance from the rear exhaust manifold pipe. Pry off the Catalytic Converter gasket before you remove the rear exhaust manifold pipe bolts which attach it to the right exhaust manifold and the front exhaust manifold leading to the pipe together with the gasket and rear exhaust manifold pipe seal. Proceed by taking off the rear exhaust manifold pipe flange. The installation requires placement of a new rear exhaust manifold pipe gasket between bolts before inserting the rear exhaust manifold pipe to exhaust manifold bolts. Some of the installation steps entail placing the rear exhaust manifold pipe onto the front exhaust manifold pipe and exhaust manifold.
