How to replace the starter motor on Cadillac STS?

Before starting the Starter motor replacement service you must disconnect the battery negative cable followed by removing the supercharger assembly. Start by unconnecting the battery positive cable from the Starter along with the wire from the s terminal on the Starter. First remove the Starter motor bolts then extract the Starter motor from its position. Begin by installing the Starter motor along with its bolts while tightening them to 30 n.m (22 lb ft). Use a wire with a nut to connect the s terminal of the Starter while tightening the nut to 4 n.m (35 lb in). Connect the battery positive cable along with its nut to the Starter terminal while tightening the securing nut to 10 n.m (89 lb in). The installation process concludes by putting back the supercharger assembly followed by reconnecting the battery negative cable.
