How to replace the rear brake disc on Chevrolet HHR?

To replace the rear Brake Disc, raise and support the vehicle, first. Take off the tire and the wheel assembly. Using a large c-clamp (J 41013), press down on the Brake Caliper Piston, but should not exceed 1 mm(0.039 in) to crush the internal adjusting component. Once compressing the piston, take off the c-clamp and the brake caliper bracket bolts. Care for the brake caliper by supporting it with heavy mechanic wire to avoid damaging the hydraulic flexible brake hose. Take off the brake caliper and bracket components, and if present, dispose of the Brake Disc retainers. If replacing your original Brake Disc, measure the position of the Brake Disc in relation to the Wheel Hub before removing it. Clean the hub/axle flange free of anything by using the Wheel Hub resurfacing kit (J 42450-A) and clear the Brake Disc by using the rotor resurfacing kit (J 41013) if required. Check the mating surfaces for debris then install the Brake Disc aligning it as stated in the process of removal. If the disc was disassembled for repair, check for assembled lateral runout (LRO) and correct it if it is more than what is specified. Lastly, place the brake caliper bracket assembly on the wheel knuckle, and install and tighten the brake caliper bracket bolts to 115 n.m (85 lb ft), replace the tire and wheel assembly, lower the vehicle and, where applicable, burnish the pads and the discs.
