How is the rear wheel hub and bearing assembly replaced if the wheel bearing is damaged on Chevrolet Impala?

The combined wheel bearing and hub unit at the back cannot be serviced separately because you must replace the entire piece when this part breaks. Start by lifting the vehicle to its proper height then take off both tires and wheels. Start by taking off the rear caliper and bracket system then take away the brake rotor part. Disconnect the abs electronic connection from the Wheel Speed Sensor while you remove the wheel hub-to-knuckle bolts of the rear wheel. Pull out the rear hub component park brake system from its position and extract the parking brake lever bracket as well as the parking brake actuator . Attach the parking brake lever bracket and parking brake actuator before connecting the rear wheel hub and park brake assembly to its knuckle using new rear wheel hub-to-knuckle bolts which need to be tightened to 75 nm (55 ft. Lbs.). Plug in the abs electrical connector to the Wheel Speed Sensor and put the Wheel Speed Sensor in place before adding the brake rotor. After finishing all other installations you can put the tires and wheels on and lower the vehicle.
