How to replace the Crankshaft Position Sensor on Chevrolet Uplander?

Starting the Crankshaft Position Sensor replacement requires Exhaust Manifold removal as a first step. Remove the ckp sensor stud after disconnecting its engine harness electrical connector from the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor. Then remove the ckp sensor. Begin installation by applying clean engine oil to the ckp sensor o-ring then place the ckp sensor into position. You must follow the fastener notice to execute correct installations. Next install the ckp sensor stud by applying a torque of 10 n.m (89 lb in). Connect the engine harness electrical connector to the ckp sensor while completing the reinstallation of the Exhaust Manifold.
