    Begin the liftgate lock cylinder change by removing the trim panels and liftgate window latches. Push the pin down on the lock cylinder and turn the cylinder counter-clockwise to take it out of the latch assembly. To install the liftgate lock cylinder you should position it onto the latch assembly then turn it clockwise until the pin connects. Reinstall the whole system after putting the trim panel back.
